JSS2 Mathematics (First Term)

About Course

The JSS 2 Mathematics (First Term) class continues to build on the foundational concepts introduced in JSS 1, with a focus on expanding pupils’ mathematical knowledge. This term, pupils will study fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, algebraic expressions, and geometric figures. Emphasis will be placed on solving equations, understanding the relationship between fractions, decimals, and percentages, and applying ratio and proportion in real-life situations. The class will also cover properties of geometric shapes and basic construction techniques. Pupils will enhance their problem-solving abilities and develop a stronger grasp of mathematical concepts, preparing them for more advanced topics in subsequent terms.
